About Internship

  • Yes, the program at OTTIMMO has an internship / entrepreneurship component in the curriculum. Internship / Entrepreneurship must be completed within 6 Months to graduate from OTTIMMO.
  • The internship is an important period in OTTIMMO. It is a time for you to take the knowledge and experience acquired in school and put it to the test in a work environment. The internship provides the opportunity to work in your selected area of interest; it gives you exposure to the demands and complexities of a culinary position while helping you build skills needed to advance your career. The internship is most importantly a time of learning from the Chef and from the working environment. During this time, interns become part of a working team in order to accumulate new knowledge and experiences. An internship is also your door to finding a job or even getting a job abroad.
  • Students will do internships at least in 4-star hotels and fine dining restaurants, high-end bistros and Michelin star restaurants in Indonesia and abroad. until now 98% of our students have interned in 5-star hotels and famous Restaurants. You will be expected to undertake more basic tasks initially, though this will evolve over time depending on your level of motivation and how much you invest in your work. An internship is not a holiday and is rather hard at the beginning, but it is also an exceptional practical experience and will be an amazing reference on your CV!
  • It depends on where you do your internship. Most hotels, restaurants and bakeries in Indonesia do not pay students for their internships.
  • While paid internships offer the lure of some additional income, they are hard to secure, highly competitive for applicants who have limited experience, and the application process takes time – especially if you’re applying internationally. They may also not be in your best interest – after all, free or paid internships are designed around what the organization wants, not what will give you the most value and support in boosting your professional development and contributing to your own sets of goals.
  • We cooperate with Internship Agencies. international internship destinations United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Bahrain, Maldives, Thailand, USA, France, Taiwan, Malaysia, Australia.
  • English is the default language for all of our internship programs. Internships in france may require that you speak France at an basic level, however we have options in diverse destinations that are perfect for sole speakers of English. They are fun and will enhance your cultural and educational experience!
  • An internship is an amazing way to gain practical experience and bolster your resume, especially for college students and university graduates who are building their career pathways. Choosing an internship abroad offers the additional benefits of gaining overseas work experience and broader cultural immersion, both of which will help you stand out to future employers. The acquisition of relevant experience, in addition to emotional and cultural intelligence, can set you apart within a competitive workforce and compliment any degree or generic educational skills.
